Ionized Alkaline water dubbed the “Fountain of Youth” because of its ability to slow down the aging process by neutralizing or stopping free radicals from attacking healthy cells.  Water researcher Dr. Jhon stated, “Water and aging are directly related and it has been shown that the water content of the body decreases with age, producing a visible wrinkling and withering effect.”  Comparative drinking green tea consistently has an affect of slowing down the aging process; however, ionized alkaline water is the most powerful liquid antioxidant.  It is revolutionizing the health industry and can be used to rebuild the immune system.  “By drinking alkaline water, the aging process can be reversed and the wastes can be reduced in the long-term to a level of a much younger person.  The functions of the organs can be revived” author Harald Tietze wrote this statement in his book “Youthing.”  It also detoxify your body when drank daily by flushing the toxins out.  We all know when we detox our bodies that is the start to creating a more healthier, slimmer, and vibrant you.  Dr. Mona Harrison, former Director of the International Water Council stated, “Cancer tumors cannot live in alkaline water.  All cancer patients should be on alkaline water, and you and I should be drinking alkalized water so our bodies won’t provide an environment for cancer to live.”  An over-acid body is the root cause of most of our health problems.

In case you are not aware experts report that our bodies composition is over 70% water.  Thus, replenishing it by supplying the proper water to our cellular system is critical for good health and a vibrant lifestyle.  The key to comprehending the importance of ionized alkaline water is to first understand the fundamentals.  Allow me to give you a non-technical explanation of the process of ionizing (changing) tap water (acidic) into an alkaline pH level.  The ionizer machine takes your tap water separates or splits the water molecules (H2O) into negative and positive electrical charge, removes, and neutralizes the acidic minerals and bacteria in the water as it goes through the ionizer machine.       .

Increase Hydration research has shown that most individuals suffer from dehydration.  This means the water we drink are not getting into the cellular membranes; therefore, leaving the cells in our body dehydrated.  Fortunately, Kangen water process of ionization reduces the size of the water molecular cluster by two-thirds and changes the space into a hexagonal clusters which are more able to penetrate the cellular membrane.  .

Balance Body pH this occur when Kangen water machine raises tap water pH by ionizing or splitting the molecule (H2O).  The ion H+ hydrogen has a positive electrical charge and OH- hydroxyl has a negative electrical charge.  It also adds ionic alkaline minerals.  It is the negative charge that balances the body, neutralize and excrete acids and toxins.  

Increase Blood Oxygenation this is the third benefit of drinking Kangen water.  It does this by supplying the body with an abundance of hydroxyl ions (OH-) negative changed electrons to unstable oxygen or active oxygen which is a free radical, it stabilize these unstable or free radicals which results in stable oxygen molecules.  These free radicals become stable oxygen which is “a nonreactive oxygen molecule with evenly paired electrons – no electrical charge.”  This results in mental alertness and is invigorating and energizing to the body.

Neutralize Free Radicals acts as an anti-oxidant by blocking the oxidation of healthy tissues with active oxygen which is a free radical and can damage normal and healthy tissue.  “Keep in mind that the outward signs of aging are just an indicator of what is also happening on the inside of the body” stated Dr. Jhon.

You be the judge and determine whether there is anything to positive charged ionized water commonly known as alkaline anti-oxidant water which is reported to immediately hydrate your body. In my last article I mentioned various healings have been attributed to drinking alkaline water. Alkalinized water has a pH level of 7.1 and above. It has been said this water is the “fountain of youth” since it is an anti-oxidant and slows down the aging process. The alkaline water ionizer machine I am familiar with is the Enagic’s SD501. According to Kangen Research Report, “Enagic’s SD501 is classified as a medical device in Japan…In Japan it can be prescribed by doctors as a medical device and is sold as Kangen water generating device, which generates ionized, hexagonal water.”

Increase your self-confidence by discovering how to improve your health from the inside - out by following these simple guidelines for the next two weeks. You determine whether drinking Kangen alkaline ionized water makes you feel better; gives you energy; detox your body; improve your blood or insulin levels; or any of the other claims that have been reported.

The first week, you will drink the 8.5 pH water. If you have any detox phenomena (i.e. headache, stomachache, backache, diarrhea, etc.) then continue with 8.5 until those symptoms disappear.

The second week you’ll drink the 9.0 pH water. If you’re still having detox symptoms, continue with 8.5 until the symptoms disappear, then drink the 9.0 pH water for 1 week.

Start by drinking half your body weight in ounces of water. For example, if you weigh 150.pounds drink 75 ounces. Gradually try to increase 1 ounce for each pound of body weight per day. If this seems it is too much, try your best to work up to this amount.

In this two week of testing the alkaline water, do not drink any other water or other drinks. Drink, cook, and even have your coffee or tea with alkaline water. This water is better to use when it is right out of the ionizer machine after 24 hours it lose some of its effectiveness.

If you are taking any prescription drugs, you must use the 7.0 pH water with the medication and not the 8.5, 9.0, or 9.5 pH waters. Usually, prescription medication is time released and since some alkaline water cluster of molecules are smaller and are more able to penetrate the cellular membranes. Use 7.0 pH water 30 minutes before and after any medications. However, this is not applicable to herbal supplements only over-the-counter or prescription medications.

Try not to drink anything with your meal. It is recommended that you only drink enough water to get your meal down. Allow at least 15 minutes after your meal before you start drinking the alkaline water again.

Build Your Self-confidence Discover the Difference Between Alkaline, Bottled, and Tap Water

What is this big craze over the pH level in the water we drink? The water bottled industry is currently a multi-billion dollar industry. It has not been to long ago we experienced a paradigm shift from tap to bottled water. Drinking tap water has become somewhat taboo with all the chemical additives not to mention the thought of the recycling process (recycling bathroom water into drinking water, ugh). You may have heard these terms used before I had no idea what they meant: pH level, alkaline, and acidity. What are the health benefits in drinking alkaline water? Why not drink acidic water? Well, I have attended a couple of seminars and did a little research on my own to see what all this fuss about the pH level of our drinking water.

Build your self-confidence discover the difference between alkaline, tap water, and bottled water. Potential Hydrogen (pH) is the measurement of hydrogen-ion concentration of any solution. It measure the acidity or alkalinity of a solution. The pH scale starts at 0 – 14 and 7 being neutral. Tap water is usually found at a neutral level. It is not alkaline or acidic. However, it has been chemically treated to make it neutral. Anything above 7 is alkaline. This means the pH reading is more alkaline and is an oxygen rich fluid. In an cancer update article published by John Hopkins hospital reported, “cancer cells cannot thrive in an oxygenated environment.” Conversely, they also reported, “cancer cells thrive in an acidic environment.” A pH reading below 7 is acidic. The lower the reading the more acidic and oxygen deprived the fluid is.

Bottled water and tap water are both acidic. Some of the bottled water and tap water are from the same source. If you look on the label of some of the bottles you will notice the source of the water is PWS. This stands for Public Works System this means the source of the water is same source as your tap water – municipal water. The only difference is it has been “purified” whatever that means. So, I started “purifying” my own tap water by boiling it and saved some money. It is recommended that you use a carbon filter to “purify” your tap water and save yourself some money not to mention filling up the landfills (that is another story).

This is just a start to educate you on this alkaline water frenzy, feel free to expand your knowledge about the health benefits. In my research I read testimonials and at the seminars people shared the health benefit they experienced by drinking alkaline water. One of the alkaline water companies report that drinking their water can: normalize blood sugar and insulin; normalize blood pressure; support healthy colon function; resolve urinary tract infections; relieve asthma and chronic respiratory infections; stop abnormal gastro-intestinal putrefaction; reduce proliferation of candida, fungus, and undesirable microforms, reduce chronic pain, improve wound healing. Conduct your own test – drink the water for two to four weeks and determine with your own body whether you experience any health benefits.

Change your decision making process and change your life. We all have done it at least once in our life, made a bad decision. Well, the past is history and cannot be changed; however, we can affect our present and subsequently make a positive impact on our future. How do you prefer to make decisions – in an objective, logical, and rational manner or are your decisions subjective based on your own personal value system. If you use the former method, you use the Thinking mode of decision making and the latter is the Feeling mode.

What mode do you use to make decisions pertaining to your relationships, occupation, and or spending habits? Personality Theorist Carl Jung contends, “people have the capability to make decision based on two very different sets of criteria: Thinking and Feeling. When someone makes a decision that is based on logic and reason, they are operating in the Thinking mode. When someone makes a decision that is based on their value system, or what they believe to be right, they are operating in the Feeling mode.” We all use both modes to make decisions; we have a natural preference to rely on one more than the other. Some of the most difficult decision we make are the ones that conflict with both of our modes of decision making. In those cases our dominate mode takes over. The easy decisions and the ones we feel good about are those that agree with both our Feeling and Thinking modes.

Demonstrate self-confidence by learning how to identify your natural preference you use to make decisions. An individual who uses the Feeling mode to make decisions will use their own set of rules or personal morals and value system when trying to decide a matter. A “Feeler” is more sensitive to others feelings and will avoid sharing information that could be upsetting. They are more of a spontaneous shopper their purchases may be just because they like an item or because it is on sale. They may not accept a job offer because they do not like the work environment. On the other hand, a person who uses the Thinking decision making mode will be logical, rational, and impartial. Their decisions will be based on what they believe to be fair and correct. This is based on a pre-defined set of rules for behavior. A “Thinker” is more objective in their decision making process. They are the type that will do the necessary product research for the best product purchase. They are not usually spontaneous shopper if they do not need an item they are not going to purchase it, sale or no sale. Typically, they will not consider their feelings and may not consider the other person’s feeling when making a decision. Whatever, the guideline states that is what it is, how they feel about it is not important. They are going to do the “Right Thing” whether they agree with it or not. If they are not careful some of their behavior can be seen as insensitive.

Demonstrate self-confidence by learning how to identify your natural preference you use to make decisions. Are they based on your own set of personal rules or do you make decisions based on a pre-define set of rules of behavior. Reflect on where you are at this point of your life and determine whether you are pleased with your current state. I say this because where you are at this present moment in time is a result of the decisions you have made throughout your life. If you are not pleased with your current life situation, then you may need to change or adjust your mode of decision making.

I said it before but it bears repeating, if you are not happy with the results you are receiving than you may need to change or adjustments your decision making mode. If you are a people pleaser but no one is trying to please you than you may want to be a little more rational, objective, and logical when deciding how to interact within your relationships.

Introverted or Extroverted - Empower yourself Identify your Natural Preference

We all have natural preferences and based on these preferences we can identify our strengths and weaknesses. Do you realize based on your personality type that your occupation could possibly be pleasantly pleasing or desperately draining your energy. If it is a struggle or you find yourself consistently complaining about your chosen occupation, then that could possibly be an indicator that you are not working in the field that is complementary to your personality type. You could possibly be working in your area of weakness and that maybe a major contributing factor to your poor job performance. On the other hand, if your occupation is satisfying and it brings you a sense of joy and gratification; this could be indicative that you are working in an area of your strength. Additionally, your occupation most likely agrees with your personality type.

Is your natural preference introverted or extroverted or do you know the differences? According to Personality Theorists, “Our Flow of Energy defines how we receive the essential part of our stimulation. Do we receive it from within ourselves (Introverted) or from external sources (Extroverted)?” Well, individuals that are introverted have a native preference to live in the world within them. They are typically stimulated or energized by: spending their leisure alone or with family; they derive pleasure from walks alone or with a significant other; they usually try not to draw attention to themselves in a crowd; they are content spending a quiet weekend at home; they would prefer to read a book than go out to a social gathering; and they prefer small groups rather than crowds. Conversely, individuals that are extroverted have a native preference to live in the world outside of them. These individuals are typically stimulated or energized by tasks that can be done with their hands and or involve other people: cooking; working on a car; talking, they like socializing with a group of people – social gathering, shopping; enjoy speaking to large groups; prefer to be the center of attention; and they feel at ease in a crowd.

Consequently, depending on how you are stimulated internally or externally you may want to consider whether your present occupation is pleasantly pleasing or desperately draining. If you have an introverted natural preference and your occupation requires you to control, communicate, and manage a large group of people and you feel drained at the end of the day; it may be you are operating outside of your native preference. You would be more equipped in an occupation where you can work independently of constant contact with employees. However, an extroverted personality type may enjoy controlling, communicating, and managing employees, since they are more people oriented and hands-on.

So to determine whether you have an introverted or extrovert preference you may have to identify what stimulates you: do you enjoy speaking to large audiences; is it a delight to attend social gathering; do you like being alone reading or writhing; taking solitary walks. These are just a few items that could possibly indicate your natural preference. If you have introversion tendencies then you are stimulate internally – meaning you enjoy activities that comes from within. Unlike extroversion tendencies you are more hands-on with various tasks and are people oriented. Extroverted personality type tend to be sociable individuals and are stimulated interacting with people. This information is not meant to box anyone in. Some of us have learned throughout various trails, tribulation, and life experiences to adjust ourselves to both modes of operations.

Have you ever wondered why certain tasks or activities you perform come easily and others are a pain in the old proverbial “neck.” Perhaps, you have often struggled with communicating with a certain individual. Thus, you may have wondered how to get thru to them. Well, do not be so hard on yourself because that task or activity may not be your natural preference; therefore, you may be operating in an area of weakness. We all have natural preferences: what stimulate you, how do you process information, how do you make decisions, and how do you operate in your environment daily. “The theory of Personality Types contends that each of us has a natural preference which falls into one category” our native personality also indicates how we are likely to react to various life situations. Thus, in order to effectively communicate with others and understand how they function, it is a good idea to know their personality type.

Learning about your personality type will help you to understand yourself; why some things come easy to you and other things are a struggle; how you make decision when faced with life situations; and how to effectively communicate with others. Personality Theorists Carl Jung, Katherine Myers, and Isabel Myers Briggs developed the theory of Personality Types. They stated in this theory, “every individual has a primary mode of operation within four categories:

Categories:

1. Flow of Energy

2. How we take in information

3. How we prefer to make decisions

4. The basic day-to-day lifestyle that we prefer

Within each of these categories we “prefer” to be either:

Mode of Operation:

1. Extraverted or Introverted

2. Sensing or iNtunitive

3. Thinking and Feeling

4. Judging or Perceiving

A combination of our four “preferences” defines our personality type. There are sixteen personality types and each individual has a natural preference to one of these personality types.

It is extremely useful to obtain a basic knowledge of the various personalities types. This knowledge has a variety of applications. A career guidance counselor will be more equipped to advise individual what type of tasks they are more suited to perform.. On your job as a manager or supervisor you will have the capability to assess your employees’ natural abilities. Therefore, you will know what type of job will be more rewarding for them. Your personal relationship will improve since you will understand others behavior based on their personality type. If you are an educator you should be able to develop effective teaching methods based on the various personality types. Counselors should be able to identify strengths and weakness in individuals based on their personality.

Do you ever wonder how your competitors get listed on the first page of the search results when you enter your keyword phrase in the search engine. Well, if this question has ever tormented you and you would like to achieve first page ranking, then you may have just found your answer. This article gives three easy steps that will assist you in accomplishing your goal of achieving first page ranking for your keyword phrase.

Step I - Identify a Niche (Target Market)

Content is King. You have to provide valuable beneficial content something that is useful to your readers and solve their problem. Once you have identified your area of interest (niche). Put it in the following Keyword Research Tools:

Google Adwords takes data from Google search engine accurate but not current.

Wordtracker takes Yahoo metacrawler not as accurate but current information.

SEO Tool Book metacrawler not as accurate but current information.

Once you get your list of niche terms. Put those terms in the keyword research tool and you will receive a list of keyword phrases. Identify the Long Tail Keyword (LTK) you are interested in. The LTK is a phrase with three or more keywords. Also take notice of the number of people searching for the LTK daily and monthly. Select a LTK that has at least 300 monthly searches, this should be a lucrative market.

Additionally, note the cost per click (CPC).

Step II - Determine if the Keyword phrase is Competitive (who else is using it)

Put the LTK in one of the search engines (Google is the most popular Search Engine):

Ask

Bing

Google

Yahoo

Research to ensure you can achieve Page Rank 1 (PR!) if the search result is around 300,000 competing sites you should be able to dominate that LTK. Put quotation marks around your LTK, so you will receive the actual results and not sites using related terms or synonym of the LTK. This means you will have around 300,000 others site owners competing for PR1 for that LTK. If there are links where the advertiser paid (sponsored links) on the page and you have around 300,000 search volume, then you most likely have a good and lucrative LTK.

Step III - Determine the number backlinks of the Sites on PR1

Backlinks are other sites that place your link on their site because of your excellent content. They lead back to your site. They usually use anchor text which are descriptive words describing your site, this is excellent for search engine optimization. A site with a large number of backlinks could possibly mean it is an important site and could be an authority site. Backlinks are also called incoming links, inbound links, inlinks, and inward links. Another method to use to determine whether you can receive PR1 for that LTK is to determine the number of backlinks the sites on the first page have. If one or more of those sites PR1 have less than 30 backlinks you might be able to compete for their position. Other things to look for on your competitor site are the relevance of the content; is it an authority site; and Alexa rating, jus to name a few. .

The following are some things you can do to receive backlinks: write and submit articles to article submission directories, posting on forums, comment on blogs with a related topic and do follow. Additionally, another action you can take to receive backlinks is put a Google Alert on your LTK. Google will email you with a list of blogs with your LTK and you can make comments on these blogs put your name and link in the signature area. Ensure your comment add value to the subject matter. This is a sure fire way to get your link on related sites. Further you may want to check the sites PR1 ensure it is ranked higher than yours. Make it your goal to post ten comments a day on related sites and you should see an increase in traffic because you will have a better PR.

What is your mind telling you? Is it telling you that you have the ability to achieve your heart’s desires? And do you believe in your heart (mind) that you can do it. Then, the only thing stopping you is you. If, you are looking at your circumstances and the situation you find yourself in at this present time, then you could possibly be your own hindrance. Sometimes we have to look beyond our current condition and think “outside the box.” We have to follow our mind and believe in our heart that we can achieve our desire. The bottom line is we have to take a chance sometimes we have to take calculated risks and we cannot allow the affect of negative thinking get the best of us. We have to dwell on positive thoughts –no doubt- when it comes to achieving our desires. We have to display self-confidence in our ability to accomplish our object.

Bear in mind confident people are positive people and have an optimistic outlook on life. They will always view the glass as “half full” rather than “half empty.” Usually a person that entertains negative thoughts will have a pessimistic outlook and will have a “half empty” attitude.

The following is a process you can use to transform yourself into the person you have desired to become:

Watch your Thoughts, for they become Words Have you heard the old adage that “whatever is in you will come out of you.” This means whatever your thoughts are, how you feel about a person or a situation and even yourself given the right situation you will voice those thoughts.

Choose your Words, for they become Actions If you declare, decree, proclaim, and or make affirmations about yourself long enough and actually believe them, you will begin to behavior in that manner. Therefore, if it is your desire to be an successful online business owner and you declare, decree, proclaim and or make affirmations that you are believe you are and do not doubt (negative thinking) then you will achieve it. “Whatever your mind can conceive and believe it can achieve.” Napoleon Hill author of the classic success book “Think and Grow Rich” wrote this insightful statement in his book 72 years ago.

Understand your Actions, for they become Habits Analyze why you do what you do. Some of us routinely every morning upon rising turn the television on and or have to have our first cup of coffee. Think about it, you may have developed a habit. If there is something you do every day religiously STOP and determine how does it make feel not doing it. Admittedly, all habits are not bad. There are several things we do religiously that helps build our confidence and makes us a better person. When we understand why we do what we do, then we have to decide whether to continue with this activity or not. One question we can ask ourselves is, “is this act propelling me into my destiny or is it hindering me from obtain it?’ Be honest with yourself when you ask yourself that question and if that activity is a hindrance have enough courage to STOP.

Study your Habits, for they will become your Character As you begin to understand your actions and the habits you have formed, you can determine the affect they are having on your character. Observe what type of impact your habits are having on your integrity, self-confidence, self-esteem, compassion and respect for yourself and others.

Develop your Character, for it becomes your Destiny As you notice your character changing into the person you want to become you should also notice you are making better choices and your thoughts are those of a person of destiny. You are “living life on purpose” and every decision you make will have to align with your destiny.

For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he…” Proverb 23:7 (KJV), this familiar

Proverb sums-up this entire article. Therefore, it is imperative that the thoughts you entertain are positive and you start speaking affirmations about yourself and as you declare these affirmation you begin to believe them. Subsequently, your actions will exemplify your thoughts and affirmations and your habits will be a testament to your new found behavior. Then, you will begin to experience internal change your character begins to comply with your new found attitude. Finally, you are not only thinking, speaking, acting, doing, believing but you have become that person you have always dreamed or desired to be. You have just been propelled into your destiny.

Motivation Overload – Are You Confused, Yet?

In writing this article I grappled with several questions and asked myself: What is my motive for writing an article about motivation? What is it I want my readers to realize about Motivation? and what behavior do I want them to exhibit after they read this article pertaining to Motivation? So with those and several other questions in mind, I begin my research.

Motivation is basically our human needs, reasons, and or desires that determines our behavior. In essence, motivation is the motive or the reason why we act the way we act. Two of our basic desires are to minimize or avoid pain and maximum pleasure. Subsequently, we may have the desire to start a home based business to minimize the affect of a potential job lay-off.; and to maximize the experience of having more time with our family along with the potential to create an unlimited monthly income. Therefore, these reasons motivate us to engage in our home-based business whether it be network marketing, internet marketing (affiliate/information product), and or direct sells. We have these internal reasons or desires to continue our work at home even when we sometimes ask ourselves, “what are you doing?”

There are several Motivational Concepts or Needs Theories but the one that I can identify with is American psychologist Abraham Maslow’s Hierarchy of Human Needs Theory. Maslow theory states that we all have needs. These are basic survival needs, mental needs, and then there is the highest need to fulfill our life goal or dream. His theory states, we cannot progress to the next level of needs until the lower need is minimally satisfied. Our wants and desires influence our behavior to get these needs met.

The following is Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs Theory listed from the basic - lowest to the most complex – highest:

Physiological – These are basic needs all humans seek, i.e. food, rest, shelter, clothing. A person who is hungry and perhaps homeless is not necessarily overly concerned with the next level of needs until these basic survival needs are met. Their primary objective is food for the day and some form of shelter for the night.

Safety – This need according to Maslow becomes a motivating factor once our physiological needs have been fulfilled. We have food, shelter, and clothing now we are concerned about being “safe” and feel protected. We want to be protected from a job lost which could cause severe pain…

Belongingness – I like to call this the need for relationships – we need some type of companion. Once our basic needs are met and we feel safe and protected from “harms way” now we are ready to share our lives with someone or something. We have a need to be loved.

Esteem - or Self Esteem is an individual’s feeling of their worth. I would say it is similar to self-respect, self-worth, and self-regard. Typically, we all want to be respected and feel valuable and beneficial to others. We have the need to be recognized and appreciated. Essentially, we have to exemplify respect, worthiness, and possess a high regard for ourselves in our behavior in order to receive it from others.

Self-Actualization – this is the final level of psychological development and only a few individuals achieve it. According to Maslow’s theory, “it gave individuals a desire or motivation to achieve budding potential”. This is when we fulfill our heart desire our dream and reach our full potential. When we get to this point in life we feel we are living life on Purpose, we are doing what we were created to do. I am so thankful because this is where I believe I am ;-). It was not an easy journey but I am so grateful I have the desire the need to purse my dream and to continue my journey. There have been some highs and some real low lows but I am so appreciative that my desire to continue this journey and be successful far out weighs the fear (pain) of failure. .

So lets go back to my original questions: My motive for writing an article on Motivation was to explain to my readers that there are certain needs, desires that are in us and in an effort to fulfill those desires, our behavior my be misunderstood. I want my readers to realize that your motivation determines your behavior or actions. Nevertheless, all of us are not at the same psychological development level, according to Maslow‘s Needs Theory. Thus, at times it may be incomprehensible to some people why our actions are not similar to theirs. If our basic physical and mental psychological needs have been minimally satisfied; we then have a motivation (need or desire) to pursue our life goals and dreams. Conversely, there are others who may be operating in fear; they have a need for safety and to be protected from economic loss - fearing lost of income. The answer to the third question I want this article to motive my readers to be proactive rather than reactive; waiting for a job lay-off and then struggling to meet your financial obligations. Start educating yourself about the internet and start an online home-based business. There are several online business opportunities that are either free or have an extremely low start-up cost.
